Infinity Zend is a Raleigh band based out of Raleigh, NC but we are on a mission to spread the Rock all over the globe!Infinity Zend is what some may call heavy blues/rock with a punk edge.
Shane {the Gwyn} and Nick {lunchbox} swear that we are 2 parts punk, we will have to leave it to the fans to determine.
Cid {Night guy} brings influence from Pink Floyd, Srv, Hendrix, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters, Prince, NIN., Nick comes steppin in with some Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Hendrix, Stones, Sub Humans, and then you have Shane wanderin in with some Melvins, NoFX, Social Distortion, James Brown, Janes Addiction, and Poison.
I feel like we're different because we come from totally different backgrounds in music, so the culmination of what comes out when we play together has elements of Punk, Funk, Rock, alternative, Blues, and a little metal. Hard to pinpoint what we are because each song has a different feel to it. The song Cross the Line is like a slow Rock Ballad that turns into a hard hitting, syncopated screamer while Another 1 Down is that of an anthem with a driving melody that wanders off for a bit and comes back to drop you off at the train station. Too Many (song about excess and distrust) is Nasty out of the gate and doesn't let up. ICU is a straight up heavy blues song. Then there's Winds of Change loaded with Jazz chords and a busy beat behind it with a poppish feel to it. We bring the element of surprise and a loud multicolored canvas of tunage.

Some recordings were done by Buck Knighten {The Hippy}, Follow you down,Carry On, and Home were written by Ricky Smithey{Nickname TBA} all others were written and recorded by Cid and a dang ole acoustic,then Shane and Nick made the tunes come alive with the help of electricity and drums!!!
