Besides, what did these doctors or any doctor know… the door opened up and the nurse walked in carrying a cup of ice and a soft drink…”Fred, I’m sorry for what happened a awhile ago….but when I recognized you, it caught me by surprise”….as she set the drink and ice on the bed side table, he closely watched her and starred at her face and into her eyes…. He was quickly haunted by the thought that he knew her , but she was the only one of the two who knew how….He looked into her eyes, I am so sorry nurse but…she interrupted him…”Fred, it’s me.. Vickie”… it was if a train had just hit him…his body was numb with disbelieve, and his heart felt as if it weighed a ton….he felt light headed and his eyes grew heavy…the sound of the heart monitor rang out as the last thing he heard before he slumped down in the bed……

So I just aw Cam Newton at Harris Teeter and I froze then went weak at the knees! I couldn't speak! I hate to say it but I'm ready for the NFL!!!

“Mr. Harold…Mr. Harold….wake up….can you hear me….we need to get the I V’s started…..wake up Mr. Harold…” he slowly forced his eyes open to see a very attractive and young nurse staring back at him… he tried to appear awake and alert, but it was far from how he felt….uhmmm, how long have I been asleep?....”most of the night, it appears you are not too fonde of the MRI table, you gave the technicians a fit, they finally had to sedate you..Are you feeling better?”…..wow, I don’t remember that, I think I should be embarrassed, I hope I wasn’t too bad….”well,that shift asked that they not be the ones to give you the next one”…What. A next one, why?... “They were not able to finish, you need to be awake and follow breathing instruction, Mr. Harold, but no worries, the Doctors will be in to discuss it with you.”… he watched the nurse insert the IV in his arm and watched her as she took his blood pressure and temperature. He could care less about the MRI…what he really wanted to know was her name…..

….the doctor opened the door, and looked a little puzzled as he looked at his patient...”Mr. Harold, what brings you in today?”…..he looked up at the doctor and sarcastically answered… the ambulance! The Doctor did not find it as humorous as he had hoped he would...”Mr. Harold, I’m Doctor Beck, I’ll be overseeing your tests while you are here.” After looking over your charts, you look much healthier than all your symptoms.” Yea that seems to be the look I have gotten the last three days. So let’s hope that you can get me out of here and out of this chair sooner rather than later. Dr. Beck sat in the chair next to him…“so, tell me what’s going on?” Look doc, I do not mean to be disrespectful or rude, but I have answered that same question the last three days to countless doctors, interns and nurses, they all took notes, so if you have read my chart, than you know why I’m here, and it’s not because I want to be….the doctor looked down at the chart, and then glanced back up at him…”well then let’s get that MRI scheduled today, and see what’s going on”
